- ideally should start talking about dating between 18-24 months of dating
- should spend at least a year dating, not counting the engagement period.
- waiting longer to get married isn't always better. age protects against marriage until 25. teenaged unions however, are the most unstable, and in my opinion, should be avoided.
- i wouldn't live with a partner until we're at least engaged.
- both parties should work (unless you're independently wealthy)
- men get the mental health and socioeconomic improvement from marriage, not women.
- so really, men should get married. women shouldn't bother.
- multiple studies have shown that women are happiest when they're single.
- in my opinion, compatibility matters more than love.
- perhaps the decline of marriage is based on the legacy of divorce.
- i never thought i'd get married.
