• i lay down my life for you, jpegmafia — 9/10 ⭑ so good. so different and innovative but all peggy, i love the unexpected electric guitar and the sampling is ugfghfg. the album cover is so sick too, perfectly matches the vibe of the album.
  • favourite tracks: sin miedo, vulgar display of power, exmilitary, either on or off the drugs.
• chromakopia, tyler the creator — 8.5/10 ⭑ great addition to his discography, hard songs to scream along to, sweet songs that make you want to fall in love, pensive songs that make you reflect about life... we got it all. he cooked. good album cover too, already iconic.
  • favourite tracks: darling i, thought i was dead, rah tah tah, tomorrow, i hope you find your way home.
• brat, charli xcx — 8/10 ⭑ i'm not fantano because this isn't a 10 to me, sorry. it's really good though, worth the hype imo. also c'mon, that album cover. music history now ngl
  • favourite tracks: 360, talk talk, sympathy is a knife, 365.
• short n' sweet, sabrina carpenter — 8/10 ⭑ she ate, etc. etc. this kind of cutie patootie pop music is not usually my taste but this album is so good, even the way it's so incredibly overplayed can't make me hate it. not a fan of this cover though, meh. i've seen random pictures of her that are more artistic and better fit the vibe of the album.
  • favourite tracks: bed chem, good graces, taste, espresso.
• gnx, kendrick lamar — 7/10 ⭑ he's insane for dropping this on a random friday morning with no tease. the highs on this album are really high but the lows are. um well. anyway. it's solid overall but nothing life-changing, just a bit generic esp by kendrick standards.
  • favourite tracks: luther, heart pt 6, dodger blue, gloria.
• mg ultra, machine girl — 7/10 ⭑ it's good but nothing mindblowing, i also feel like i have to be in a very specific mood to enjoy digital hardcore (overly caffeinated), but there are a lot of tracks here that i love.
• king of the mischievous south, denzel curry — 6/10 ⭑ this is a super tentative rating cause i haven't listened front to back, but i've had a hard time doing so cause a lot of the tracks don't vibe w me but some of them are really good.
  • favourite tracks: hot one, hoodlumz, got me geeked.
