worse case:

• there's no more body to process pain
• if I'm stuck on earth as a ghost, I'll lead basically the same existence I'm already living except I won't get to choose the books or movies that entertain me

best case:

• if there's reincarnation, I'll probably come back as a unicorn
• if there's another plane of existence, I'll move uptown
• if there's immortality, I'll likely be unlucky enough to find it
