+ Beautiful weekend trip to Michigan with one of my closest friends; met some amazing people, got to partake in a profound poetry slam, & escaped the blistering TX heat for a bit

+ Experienced the most magical sunset in Dearborn... the kind that makes me feel like dissolving into the sky with pure pleasure

+ Made it to the second round of considerations for a literary journal with a 99% rejection rate

+ Eid al Adha was HOT but pleasant... caught up with friends i hadn't seen in a month, went to a cute brunch place, & bonded over Turkish coffee

+ The James Webb Space Telescope!!! My inner astronomy nerd is losing her mind :')

+ My birthday weekend was incredible... Two of my best friends showed up in the afternoon with cake, flowers, and gifts. At night, i went out to dinner with my friends & ended up staying up til 9 AM talking to a new friend whose soul & life story resonated profoundly with me. On Sunday, i went out for dinner & boba with my besties, had an amazing time laughing & reconnecting with them.

+ All month, i've been encountering strangers who have spontaneously opened up about their life stories; these encounters have been reawakening me to my soul purpose & reminding me who i'm meant to be
