FALL SEMESTER 2011

• Eric describing me as a mysterious poet & then calling me "the cat's meow"
• Eric asking for my number
• being back in my element, being back in the art department and finally having an answer to the question "what's your major"
• making new friends:Nikki,Alonso,Mariah,Sage,Sarah S.,Cristina, Evaa,Zarita,Kathryn,Austine,John, that Chinese foreign exchange student
• two Chinese courses
• Bobby, aka Shaggy Doo
• Chris Oakden as my TA & his sweet compliment
• impressing the other TAs on my Chinese Art presentation
• A waiter from an Italian restaurant shamelessly flirting with me
• Daves humorous safety lessons & him lecturing me about my lack of protein consumption
• Chair races in the art department with Alonso and Kathryn
• Being stopped by a fashion blogger who asked for my picture
• Receiving all A's and one B in all of my classes
• Adrien shocking the hell out of me by giving me the biggest compliment
• getting an A in Adrien's section when I seriously though he hated me and I was thus going to fail
• ridding the bus with Justine and trading embarrassing stories

SPRING SEMESTER 2012

• Making new friends:Ky & Brittini
• having friendly teachers I could talk with: Nidda & Alice
• Being asked to take my picture by another blogger and also by a girl running the university paper
• Working in the darkroom again
• Being told I have a good profile by some girl in my photography class and then being asked to model for her pictures
• staying late for Japanese movie night with Brittini & the japanese faculty
• Getting stuck in a surreal elevator with Brittini
• Hanging out in the game room, grabbing coffee & chatting with Ky
• Ky walking me to class
• declaring creative writing as my minor
• dorm hopping, study sessions, spider freak outs, frozen-yogurt runs, feminist rants, and bus stop waits with Brittini
• some random boy singing Christmas songs to me in the rain
• crashing a class and actually getting in by the luck of the draw
• defeating my japanese final like a boss
• Running into that boy from the Italian restaurant
• Meeting Codey after class for some late night Vietnamese Pho & running to catch the late night bus
