• take 5 minutes a day to get rid of 5 things
  • start by decluttering the easy items first
  • get rid of items that are broken or never used
  • get rid of items that do not spark joy
  • don't hold onto things that you don't like purely for sentimental value (unwanted gifts, etc)
  • only buy things you really need
