- renew my European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) before May, as I am going to Eurovision 2013 in Malmö, Sweden ♥ aside from a brief stop over in Denmark, this will be my first time in Scandinavia! how fun.
- done, with relative ease thanks to my mother.
- brush up on my Swedish. as I'm only going for two and a half days I doubt there will be much serious need, but I can't imagine Dutch being a very widely spoken language there so it's best to get to grips with the tongue to save complications. anyway – maybe I'll just speak American English with the Swedes instead...
- done. I actually did rather well! me and a shopkeeper were able to have quite a nice little conversation about Swedish and Dutch stereotypes.
- plant new flowers in the garden. my mother decided to ditch her herb garden project so now there's a fresh new space waiting for me. perhaps I'll plant some geraniums or tulips.
- done. I've planted some traditional tulip bulbs and one or two sunflowers. the latter will grow very quickly.
- go to the Japanese market in Amsterdam and stock up on some Asian sauces and ingredients that you can't get in my town (or not to my knowledge anyway).
- go over my maths notes leisurely and don't make a big fuss over my results for the latest test - I got less than 20%. I tried. it's over and done with now. there's nothing I can do except stick in and try harder.
- oddly, I feel like I'm doing well...
