- absolute refusal to wear shoes as much as possible
- asking my little brother to lay on my back to squish me
- cawing like a bird every morning to let my mother know i was awake
- coming home from school every single day for that while we were living in the nice place up north dumping my mother's boyfriend's giant bowl of matchbooks on the floor and sorting them by by brand
- cracking open all of the peanuts in a can of boiled peanuts and waiting until i'm entirely done before shoving the entire handful into my mouth and eating them at once
- cutting poptarts into a 3x3 grid and eating the center piece last
- doing front flips on the living room floor endlessly
- going through periods of eating pickles where i would only eat the outside or only eat the inside with no in-between
- hanging my torso upside down while on furniture like chairs, bed, couch, etc.
- harassing my grandpa to hold onto my arms and spin me around in the pool endlessly
- harassing my mother to let me fill out paperwork any time we had to go to a doctor's office or government place or anything at all where she had to fill out forms
- having my friends hold lyric pages id printed for jp songs to quiz myself to see if i'd memorized them properly despite not knowing the language at all
- holding onto one of the porch posts with one hand and swinging around it a thousand times
- intentionally changing how i wrote letters/numbers if i saw a style i liked more than what i was currently using
- looking things up in books from the back to the front
- looking through the dictionary for fun to find words that sounded cool
- making long noises into small/box fans to hear the distortion in my voice
- making lyrics as much as possible for instrumental songs
- memorizing the names of actors during the opening credits of tv shows for fun
- obsessively memorizing lyrics to songs, even in languages i wasn't fluent in
- playing cds and handwriting down the lyrics, restarting the same song a billion times to catch every few words until i finished
- reading lists from bottom to top
- recording songs in languages i didn't know onto cassette tapes and listening to them a billion times trying to write out the lyrics based on what sounds i could interpret just from hearing
- renting large volumes of poetry from the public library and copying down entire poems, phrases, or just words that i liked into composition notebooks
- rewriting the lyrics of songs i knew into parodies about the media the songs came from
- sitting on the kitchen floor and yelling into the empty dishwasher to hear the augmented sound of my voice
- spending a very long time sifting through the ordinary tumbled white stones used as aesthetic sidewalk path gravel in my grandpas apartment complex trying to find ones i liked
- standing in the grocery cart while my mother was shopping meticulously straightening whatever i could reach
- talking to inanimate objects, especially to be polite to them
- wedging myself into the crux of the couch cushions, sometimes just getting under the couch cushions themselves
- wore the same jacket every single day of middle school all 3 years regardless of the weather, wouldn't go anywhere without it
