• 3 elements in sling
    • bottom of sling
    • knee hook
    • cross
  • beats
    • bell (side to side)
    • pike (front to back)
    • scissor/turnpike (starts side, ends in pike at top of curve)
  • seatbelt
    • front balance, fall forward, hook knees, sit up
    • or back balance, hook 1 knee from behind n then over, sit up
    • infinity circles forward or back
  • cartwheel roll from single thigh sit, fan legs, drive hands toward opposite hip, end in back straddle
  • j roll from single thigh sit, basically yr leg in the sling is the hub of a wheel n yr torso circles down n around n back up
  • side salto
    • gazelle, pull over, bend yr bottom knee w yr foot in front of the other knee, let go, quickly hook the bottom knee
  • crossback & slack drop into belly basket
  • rebecca split & knee pop drop into lion sit
  • elbow circles
    • from a belly basket, put yr feet inside the poles & link yr elbows around the poles
    • engage yr elbows toward each other as much as possible, think abt making them touch; u can also hold yr hands
    • bring yr chest thru & spot the ceiling as u finish
    • lowering yrself slowly into it is more painful
    • to pop yrself into it, start by forming a 45-degree angle bw yr torso n legs
  • hip key rollups
    • single thigh sit, key over
    • drive yr top leg out, not down
    • open yr hips to the ground sooner than u think
    • don't twist yr torso, keep everything square
  • back catches
    • backpack, crochet, sit up (partway or all the way), fall backwards
    • pike legs thru the door, then straddle them
    • drive toes down & head up as u thrust yr hips; think also of engaging yr back like u wud for a front balance
    • ideally this creates enuf momentum to bring u upright on the other side & catch the fabric behind yr back
