- still finding it easy to talk to c. after all these years
- meeting luchi
- taking them to cupbop
- walking in winterhaven & seeing a trapeze hanging from a tree & letting a group of young people take our picture with them for a scrapbook & getting the cops called on us for laying under a tree (a different one from the trapeze one)
- taking a silks class w/ c. & nerding out over aerial & pole
- trekking around downtown popping into local art/gift shops & being v impressed w/ the vibes inside arizona poppy
- having tuk tuk thai for dinner & loving the meal to my surprise which made me hope that the mid meals i had there before were just a fluke
- going to saguaro national park & hiking up a hill in the sus picnic area & trying unsuccessfully to duck out of c.'s panorama shot & her saying "you're part of the experience" & seeing baby squirrels
- spotting 27 lizards in 1 day, including some w/ zebra-striped tails & one that was so big & fancy i literally blurted out "is that real?"
- getting to see all the larger animals at the desert museum, esp the ocelot who was super lively that day & the black bear that a woman called strawberry & spoke to like they were old friends & the way a. could recognize the smell of wolves before he saw them & realizing how observant he is when it comes to animals
- eating rosa's for dinner & mutually trauma dumping for hours about shitty relationships; spilling all the deets about the boundary crosser & their aftermath & how cathartic & comforting & freeing it felt to finally get it off my chest
- going to the cat cafe & then trying first watch & having it live up to the hype
