- driving up to the desert museum & the sheer terrain of it
- she was impressed by the butterflies
- ducks doing their funny little pecking against pans
- me as a totem pole cactus & her as a queen victoria agave
- agaves w imprints on their leaves of the leaves that had pressed on their undersides when the plant was still budding & compact, how it reminded her of bra strap imprints
- "her personal bird, her PB" & how for hours we kept finding more angles of humor to it
- tired bobcat, slick otter, ocelot that came up to the glass & tried to sniff my hand
- talking smack abt the mineral cave & then being impressed by it
- cool snake that was moving its bod around & flicking its tongue
