- would rather say "human," "parent," "caretaker" etc

- idk this is too cutesy for me n i feel like it somehow undercuts the complexity / wildness / ineffability of animals
- would rather just specify the animal or say "companion animal"

- again i feel like this minimizes the passion / dedication u can have for activities that don't make u money
- don't have a good alternate term for it but i just specify the activity or ask someone what they like to do outside of work

- as if yr most significant / fundamental activity is yr method of surviving under capitalism :(
