  • Boy was this a waste of time. What a convoluted, boring movie. It took one hour to start and it was still bad. One star is just because it features Gael García Bernal.

  • The first half is fun, the rest is whatever. Very boring songs, felt like 2 or 3 movies crammed into one.

  • People terrorized me so much about this movie I ended up not crying that much. Fernanda Torres deserved that Golden Globe.

  • I hadn't watch this movie in maybe 25 years. The Brazilian dub is surprisingly atrocious, like nobody knew how to dub songs. The frames are weirdly slow.

  • Every time I rewatch this movie I fall in love with a new frame of it. Amazing how the hype is justified.

  • Is it a masterpiece of film? No. Does it convey good examples of owner-pet relationship and care? Also no. Is it cute af? YES.
