    • Sunshine Cleaning (2008) by Christine Jeffs- sad, sweeet, & bloody, all in a good way.
    • TimeCrimes/Los Cronocrímenes (2007) by Nacho Vigalondo- well made and sensible plot for a time traveling movie, but kind of pointless?
    • Let the right one in/Låt den rätte komma in (2008) by Tomas Alfredson- cute and scary swedish vampire story.. but mostly scary. well made, too.
    • Skills Like This (2007) by Monty Miranda- kind of funny, but i thought the plot was stupid. it didn't help that i was dead tired and wanted it to end.
    • Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (2008)- this was a short film we watched in segments through the night, and quite possibly my new favorite. Neil Patrick Harris makes me giggle.
    • Chocolate (2008) by Prachya Pinkaew- if you're going to watch a thai kung fu movie, watch this one.
