- 1996, wednesday from "the addams family" - my dad even handed me a huge butcher knife to walk around with but figured out after 10 minutes that was probably not the safest thing for a third grader to have
- 1999, pippi longstocking - i had waist-long hair and my parents helped me bend a wire hanger to poke out of my head on either side to twist my braids around...getting through classroom doors was a little bit of a challenge, for sure
- 2002, sex - pretty much, we looked like hos
- 2003, fischerspooner back-up dancer - sadly, only one person got it, and that person ruled
- 2004, the morning after - partner costume with the boyfriend at the time, i thought it was pretty genius
- 2005, princess lolly from candyland - i did a group thing but we changed it to "slutty characters from candyland"...
- 2006, jem - lissa was pizzazz and our costumes were pretty ridiculous, but AMAZING...only your best friend can do shit like this with you (i was also the one who knew all the words to the opening song)
- 2007, la diabla - i had to go to work, so i donned devil horns and painted my mouth with some bright red sparkle...all the kids wanted to touch my lips
- 2008, raggedy ann - blue dress, apron, striped tights, and amazing makeup. our popscene party was awesome, and the kids' parents at our work party the actual day of loved it. morgan and i went to yelle at mezzanine, where aaron told me a buncha times i looked super cute and we all got wasted in the VIP area upstairs
