- don't wear a band t-shirt of the band you're going to see. you're not being funny or ironic, duder.
- girls who shrilly scream directly in my ear: a simple "woo" and hand clap is only necessary. your sounding like a dying sheep is not.
- tall people, you get the brunt of much anger at shows because usually you end up right in front of the only midget who went to the show. you deserve to be in the front if you waited to be there like everyone else, but generally, you can see above everyone. be in the back?
- don't say "sorry, sorry" as you're swinging your arms and shoving your way up to the front. you're obviously not. i hope a crowd surfer falls on your head.
- putting up your hands to applaud or cheer is acceptable. leaving them up for eight songs is not.
- talking loudly during piano/acoustic/ballad-type/slow/quiet songs is fucking ANNOYING. shut up.
- stick your backpack or large bag between your legs. it will save the person behind you from pickpocketing you as a result of getting you back for bumping into them.
- FOR THE LOVE OF GOD: IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE WORDS TO THE SONG, DO. NOT. SING. ALONG.
- if you're trying to push your way to the top halfway through the show, let me tell you: it will be physically impossible for you to get to the front. honest. we're not all like sardines in a can for no reason.
- you can dance and wig out to the band, but if you start making a circle of space around you, there's a problem.
- seriously, a mosh pit during a ballad is unnecessary.
- boys: your attempt at "protecting" your sweetie during the show by havng your arms around her is looked down upon and laughable. she's gonna get hit in the face. deal.
- on that note, don't take your first date to a massively sold out show and stick him or her at the front to get crushed. i'm not sure if it will get you laid?
- if a person is coming towards you from the front, it means they want OUT. let them!
- is it really necessary to push? really? or am i just too old for this shit?
