- 2017 (1 year) - my grandma died, then we went to FL for a wedding. in the summer we did a roadtrip from Seattle back to San Francisco
- 2018 (2 years) - Guerneville weekend getaway. the river had been out-rained that year so we mostly spent the weekend in the hot tub at the AirBNB
- 2019 (3 years) - Joshua Tree camping trip, wherein we accidentally bought a house at a garage sale and i am still sad i donated that Niners pullover
- 2020 (4 years) - COVID, year 1. i had bought tickets to Thom Yorke in Phoenix and we were gonna make a weekend of the Grand Canyon before the show
- 2021 (5 years) - likely takeout at home
- 2022 (6 years) - DHS hotel stay, dinner at PaulBar, mushrooms in the hot springs
- 2023 (7 years) - Idyllwild weekend at a woodsy cabin AirBnB; later that month we went to SD for a Mensa event and SF for a wedding, and tried to continue celebrating
- 2024 (8 years) - Julian stay at cute downtown inn, cemetery hang, fancy tea lunch, cider brewery, best Thai food halfway home on the mountain
- 2025 (9 years) - lunch at La Copine, akido class with Janice, drinks at Tiny Pony
- 2026 (10 years) - solvang, calico ghost tour/yermo, hot springs
