- 1 cup pitted dates
- 1/2 cup roasted hazelnuts
- 2 tbsp hazelnut butter
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 2 tbsp syrup
- whole hazelnut for centre
- 1/4 finely chopped hazelnut for rolling
- 1/4 cup millet or quinoa flakes (for rolling)
- 1 cup melted dark chocolate
- create a dough with the hazelnuts, the dates, hazelnut butter, cacao powder and syrup
- take a tbsp of the dough and add a hazelnut in the centre, close carefully and drop the ball in the melted chocolate
- quickly toss it in some chopped nuts and millet
