- 1 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup sundried tomatoes
- 1/2 inch jalapeno
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbp salt
- toast the nuts in the oven for a few minutes so they are fragrant
- in a food processor add all the ingredients: pulse until forming a crumbly paste
- optional cook the paste in a pan with a bit of oil for fragrance + mouth feel
- it's ready to be enjoyed with a tortilla (romaine lettuce it's the best for cutting out the heat of the peppers)
- nuts are protein if you want more, add some black beans
