• 1 cup walnuts
    • 1/2 cup sundried tomatoes
    • 1/2 inch jalapeno
    • 1 tbsp chili powder
    • 1 tbsp cumin
    • 1 tbp salt
  • toast the nuts in the oven for a few minutes so they are fragrant
  • in a food processor add all the ingredients: pulse until forming a crumbly paste
  • optional cook the paste in a pan with a bit of oil for fragrance + mouth feel
  • it's ready to be enjoyed with a tortilla (romaine lettuce it's the best for cutting out the heat of the peppers)
  • nuts are protein if you want more, add some black beans
