• it's called maccheroni
  • i didn't like traditional mac n' cheese, i'm sorry america, but that recipe isn't for me
  • but... i find a few kind that are actually delicious! and they are vegan and taste a little like the original, please don't be mean, i don't eat dairy and this variation is so much yummy even for kid (i feed my kids' neighbors when they are working, and they eat a loooooooot of veggie with me)
    • pasta, maccheroni / rigatoni / conchiglioni
    • 1/2 cup unsweetened soy milk
    • 1 tbsp flour or starch
    • 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
    • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
    • salt
    • pepper
  • method
    • cook the pasta
    • heat milk in a saucepan until steaming
    • pour the flour and stir in, cooking it
    • add some salt, pepper, nooch, pumpkin and mix well; cook until thickened
    • add the maccheroni to the sauce and taste it before adding additional flavours (like garlic, chili flakes...)
  • for the kids i add some broccoli and basil on top!
