- 225g red jalapeño peppers
- 2 garlic heads
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp syrup
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 1 tbsp water
- starch slurry
- ↳ 1 tbsp rice starch + 1 tbsp water
- method
- blend peppers, garlic, salt, syrup, vinegar and water until chunky
- remove 1/4 of the blending mixture & blend the remaining content untily smooth
- pour the content in a pot: the removed 1/4 cup + the smooth sauce + rice starch slurry
- bring to a boil until thickened, then remove from the heat
- let it cool and store in the fridge
