• ingredients
    • 225g red jalapeño peppers
    • 2 garlic heads
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp syrup
    • 1/3 cup white vinegar
    • 1 tbsp water
    • starch slurry
    • ↳ 1 tbsp rice starch + 1 tbsp water
  • method
    • blend peppers, garlic, salt, syrup, vinegar and water until chunky
    • remove 1/4 of the blending mixture & blend the remaining content untily smooth
    • pour the content in a pot: the removed 1/4 cup + the smooth sauce + rice starch slurry
    • bring to a boil until thickened, then remove from the heat
    • let it cool and store in the fridge
