    • 2 potatoes
    • 1 can chickpeas
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 1 red chilli, chopped
    • 1 thumb-size piece ginger, chopped/grated
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tbsp thai basil paste (or any thai paste you can find)
    • 1 tbsp lime juice
    • coriander
    • salt
  • method
    • boil the potatoes until soft
    • blend them in a food processor with the other ingredients
    • they should still have a texture, if they are too mushy, add some flour
    • shape the mix into cakes/burgers and cook them in a pan for around 5-10' on each side
  • this is a side dish, if you wanna make a complete meal just add some leafy greens or non-starcy veggies - since the potatoes are already starchy
