Hello, fellow listographer. I've never done this before, but I need your help caring for a little girl cat called Tico-Tico. She's not mine, she's my friend's and she's in the ICU right now fighting for her little life. Vet care in Brazil (like in most countries) can be astronomically expensive, and right now she needs a blood transfusion that costs U$270 (roughly R$1500), which is literally a month's salary here.

Tico-Tico's timeline

• Dec 21st: admitted to the ICU. Did a bunch of blood tests. Started fluid therapy. Initial costs: R$1170 (~U$211).
• Dec 22nd: first visit. she's urinating and drinking water, but hasn't eaten by herself. had diarrhea. severe anemia, needs blood transfusion. Daily ICU fee paid, bought wet food to see if she eats. Day's cost: R$295 (~U$53).
• Dec 23nd: second visit. ticotico used the litter box for the first time. still hasn't eaten by herself. had diarrhea again. severe anemia ongoing. Daily ICU fee paid, bought probiotics for her. blood bag will arrive in the evening! Day's cost: R$330 (~U$59).
• Dec 23nd: early in the morning, Tico-Tico passed away. :( More info here.
