- 3.5/5. Yummy! Better than the one at Box Hill, we both think.
- 6-MAY-19: Oppa (lunch).
- fried chicken original flavour; seaweed rolls. Soy & black bean drink.
- 3.5/5. Good chicken, came with these amazingly delicious rice sticks. It got an extra 0.5 for that. The seaweed rolls were good too. Service OK. They forgot my drink and I had to ask for it.
- 27-AR-19: Ajisen Ramen (Epping) (dinner).
- fried gyoza. matcha lemonade spider

- 4/5. Extremely yummy! Good service.
- 18-APR-19: Sonny's at The Curtin.
- white fried chicken, 2 pieces; Memphis slaw; fried pickles.
- also tasted some of the loaded fries.
- 3/5. I thought the seasoning was better than Fried And Tasty. The fried pickles and sauce were masterful. A point taken off because one person's food never arrived and all they did was give him a refund.
- 17-APR-19: Pappa Rich (Melb QV) (dinner).
- chicken skins, Hainan steamed bread with curry chicken.
- Biryani rice with Red chicken and sambal eggplant.

- 14-APR-19: Cento Mani (lunch).
- cheese bread (Pandebono); empanadas; coffee.
- cheese-stuffed arepa with egg, bacon, mushrooms.
- 1.5/5. All-around disappointing. Service was slow. Food was cold in the middle and/or edges. Mushroom and bacon had hardly any mushroom. Very small and cramped area. Added half a point because the arepa was really tasty.
- 13-APR-19: IKEA Bistro (lunch).
- meat & chicken meatballs; garlic bread; dessert.
- 3/5. Had garlic bread for first time: it was pretty tasty.

- 3.5/5. Cheerful as usual.
- 3-APR-19: Mr. Tulk (lunch).
- Calamari with leafy pomegranate salad and hommous. Peppermint tea.
- 3/5.5. The service was better (i.e. existent) this time, but the food was overpriced and a bit pretentious. The salad dressing was extremely salty. What happened there?
- 31-MAR-19: Bon'Ap (brunch).
- Le Petit Dejeuner continental: croissant, bread, cheese, ham, berry jam, butter, coffee, juice.
- 4.5/5. Fucking incredible.
- 27-MAR-19: Chinger Biang Biang Noodle (lunch).
- Lamb and Vegetable Biang Biang Noodle Soup.
- 3.5/5. Really amazing noodle in a quite nice soup with varied ingredients. Would have gotten 4/5 if it weren't for the slightly dirty feel of the place.
- 22-MAR-19: Big Mama (lunch).
- karage chicken kure (curry).
- 3.5/5.
- Very good food again! Service wasn't too bad but the lack of space in the dining area was really noticeable. (for thin people not just me!) Otherwise might have been 4/5.
- 20-MAR-19: The Best Guilin Noodles (lunch).
- Braised Pork and Vegetable with Rice.
- 3/5. Not too bad. Emily's tasted better. Marked down because they didn't have some of the things we asked for. But a cute, cheery place.
- 17-MAR-19: Gami (Box Hill) (lunch).
- Mozarella Sticks.
- boneless chicken w/ sweet chilli & honey soy. Potato Dream. Corn & Cheese. Chicken Japchae.
- Lychee Cider.
- 3.5/5. Really good and amazing combination of ideas/ingredients, but somehow not as amazing as the other Gami. Perhaps I'd just been craving for chicken for too long and by then I'd gone off it slightly?
- 7-MAR-19: Big Mama (lunch).
- pork katsu bento box.
- 3.5/5. Rather strange mix of items and ungenerous amount. However the katsu was A-mazing and the pumpkin paste side dish unusual and yummy so I gave an extra half-point.
- 1-MAR-19: Big Mama (lunch).
- teriyaki beef bowl.
- 3.5/5. very yummy! Slightly slow service.
- 20-FEB-19: Various, Night Market (dinner).

- 3-FEB-19: Stalactites (lunch).
- mixed dips & breads; meat platter; Greek salad; chickory. Greek coffee.
- 4/5. Really good! Delicious!
- We went to a Greek cakes shop a few doors down whose name I didn't catch. There, I had a chocolate-covered baklava and mocha cake. These were also excellent.
- 25-JAN-19: Monzarella (dinner).
- some kind of pizza; wedges with cheese & sour cream.
- 2/5. The food was OK. The service was extremely poor (not rude, just very slack. e.g. they didn't take our food orders til we'd been there for half an hour).
- 20-JAN-19: Sakura Kaiten Sushi II (lunch).
- general sushis, tempura sushi, takoyaki, gyoza.
- then we had a triple dessert: Hokkaido cheese tart, Pafu and Harajuku crepes. It was completely decadent!
- 4-JAN-19: Sam Sam Korean Chicken (Swanston St) (dinner).
- boneless chicken: sweet chilli and mustard & spring onion. Plum sake drink.
- 3/5. Not as good as Gami. The sweet chilli chicken had random bits of sweet potato in it. Which was yummy, but not pure chicken like at Gami. There were sides (daikon and 'salad') but the salad was pretty much just shredded cabbage with some kind of spiced mayo on it. The best part was the drink, haha. I probably would have liked it more if I hadn't had Gami to compare it to. Also, the service was really mediocre. They lost one of the orders from our table and gave them something not-that-nice to make up for it. If it was me whose order had been lost, I probably would have given them like 1.5! But I liked the 'press the button on the table to order' system. So yeah.
