    • A country where the skyscrapers of the city are right next door to the forest. Failing that, Northern Europe probably.

    • It used to be the snowdrop, but seeing as there are none in my garden, I will now say the fuchsia.

    • hm, unfortunately we don't really have composers in the 21st century.

    • Those who struggle with the same darknesses I do, and manage to live, love and create more freely.

    • Queen Elizabeth I of England; Boudica; I'm highly embarrassed there aren't more.

    • Names for what? Names for people, names for things? I find this question embarrassingly confusing.
  • what is it you most dislike?
    • Having overcome the temptation to put 'myself' and thinking about it a little more, I would say racism & bigotry.
  • what historical figures do you most despise?
    • Hitler, Stalin, all the usuals.
  • what event in military history do you most admire?
    • When Hannibal got up and just about made it.
  • what reform do you most admire?
    • Reform was such a 19th-century concept. I suppose: any reform which has helped me live my life in the way that I enjoy it today.
  • what natural gift would you most like to possess?
    • that of ease. (elegance; doing things effortlessly; not tripping over all the time, getting tongue-tied or feeling like a complete idiot after every conversation I have)
  • how would you like to die?
    • I'd like to know ahead of time, so that I can contemplate it. Though not so far ahead that I have an a frustratingly impossible need to do everything before I go.
  • what is your present state of mind?
    • A little restless and frustrated.
  • what is your motto?
    • "Eat drink and be merry, for tomorrow you may catch some disgusting skin disease." (i.e.: I don't have a serious motto!)
