INFJ: The Protector

  • trust your intuition : choose according to your gut feeling, not convention.
  • bring in art : hang art, others or your own, on the walls. Display other items that show your love of the arts, music, etc.
  • create orderly chaos : there can be conflict between expressing yourself and a need for order. Set up systems that keep mess in order but show off your creativity.
  • make things organised: use your intuition to create a space that's organised perfectly for your needs.
  • celebrate your loved ones: make the home a place that's welcoming for everyone who lives there. Set things up in a way that they will appreciate.
  • reduce stress: this is another good reason for smart organisation. Have things for pampering and self-care within easy reach, and choose calming colours like blue and green.
  • enjoy your achievements: don't forget to acknowledge what you've already done and stop to enjoy it.

INTJ: The Mastermind

  • create a library/ thinking space: make it something aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. Create a nook where you can be alone to think and read. Make it calming and comfortable.
  • strategise and organise your space: use your analytical skills and powers of observation to craft an efficient, functional home. Use storage and organising tools to your advantage.
  • use patterns: decorate your home in patterns and rhythms that make sense to you.
  • shop alone: having to explain your choices to others or get approval is frustrating for you.
  • ignore the rules: do whatever works best for you.
