• had an afternoon with Emple and had lunch and went to see The Jungle Book at the Astor, then Sherlock and tea and chocolate and it was just all-around ace.
• re-did my currently reading spreadsheet and set some reading goals.
• discovered aphids on the roses - eugh! - and had to research how to get rid of them. And then get rid of them.
• had an amazing weekend: Friday with Emple and movie and dinner; Sat was the Kyary Pamyu Pamyu concert; and on Sun went to the Australian Fashion exhibition with Mum

• International Sushi Day is truly on 18th June. National Sushi Day is in November.
• There's a Botany Bay in England which is named after that in Sydney because that's where the convicts left from to travel to Australia.
• One of the knives found in Tutankhamun's wrappings was made of iron from a meteorite. Scientists have even been able to determine the individual meteorite it came from.
• You can substitute 3tbls peanut butter for 1 egg.
• According to an authoritative source on YouTube, Sailor Moon Crystal kind of sucks arse.
