• women, make the switch to reusable menstrual cups or OB tampons
• quit flying in planes
• reuse or donate what you no longer need or want
• keep your own livestock
• keep bees
• grow a garden
• use a clothesline
• make your own soap and detergents
• turn off the light after you leave a room
• buy several reusable water bottles
• use silverware, not plastic
• stay fit
• make your own household utensils, like a basket or broom
• plant trees
• fish sustainably
• vote for environmentalists
• teach your kids to do these things
• boycott businesses that do things that are bad for the earth
• buy sustainable beauty products that weren't tested on animals
• never wear real fur or animal skin
