aka how I learned to stop judging and love the bomb...
- so fucking dramatic
- fucking breeder problems
- did like seeing Chloe Webb as Monica but hate how they treated her
- William H Macy!!
- Carl is...hot?!!
- Lip grew on me
- Fiona was...both lovable and hateable. I love the times she was just done and started laughing incredulously
- Debbie having a baby was insane. Then naming it after FRANK???
- The ending. Oh my Lord. There were some super, super, amazing Frank scenes that literally made me cry. The one with the little girl in the hospital with the heart condition and she looked like Paulina and Frank called her Fiona and oh, made me feel broken inside.
- Frank holding the nurse's hand when he had covid and calling her his beautiful Fiona...
- Ian dealing with his bpd and coming out on top in the end, and omg. Everything Micky Milkovich I cannot get enough of. The fact that they received death threats for almost pulling him from the show says it all. Also Ian being a paramedic was touching
- I love when Carl became a good person, and also when he was a bad person. Because even when he was a bad person he also was a good person deep down, ya know? A bad Carl is better than a bad Fiona (fucking Ford. I hate him)
- home state reference. I feel heard
- tried watching the original British show. Lord. Much like the Office. American humor just hits different for me. Just seemed so dark and dim. Liked the actress who played Fiona tho.
- Why did Liam almost feel like an afterthought? Except he was pretty cool when he got older and started developing his roots with Vee.
- also, that brings us to Kev. GOD! I love Kev, and I love the relationship between him and Vee. I feel like the actors have actual chemistry
- yet the ending also feels so unfinished, you know? I thought we'd see Fiona again and get some closure with all the cast.
- Debbie really grew on me. She and Lip started out annoying the hell out of me, but by the end I actually really admired both of them. I think they grew up into totally nice and respectable people
- I love the social and cultural accuracy. Especially that they wore masks.
