• Write in my journal...gotta get all my feelings out.
  • Have a good cry.
  • Get a hug from my daughter.
  • Listen to uplifting music and sing it out.
  • Talk to my sister, she usually sees through all the bullshit.
  • Talk to my bestie Aaron S...he always knows just the right thing to make me feel better about myself. He has the biggest heart.
  • Talk to my bestie Nick D...he always makes me laugh and has a talent for distracting me from my problems.
  • Eat ice cream...definitely not the healthiest way to deal with my problems, but it does help in the moment.
  • Do something artistic...channeling my feelings through art is a good outlet.
  • Read a good book.
  • Go for long walks until it exhausts me.
  • Online shopping...also not the best way to deal with depression but I do love my retail therapy.
  • Watch funny shows or movies.
  • Stand under a pitch black sky full of stars.
  • Take a long hot shower.
  • Have a therapy session.
