- “dairy free” is not a trend for me, it’s just how i eat.
- i don’t drink milk, i don’t use butter, i don’t consume milk powder, whey, casein & friends.
- not because it’s “unhealthy”, not because it’s “unnatural”, but simply because i don’t want to. full stop.
- the most annoying part of being dairy free is realizing that there was no real reason for it.
- cookies? milk powder.
- crackers? milk powder.
- bread? milk powder.
- why? nobody really knows.
⠀ ⠀ ⠀ so… what’s the reason for a dairy free section?
- because almost everything can be made without dairy, without losing taste or texture.
- because many “traditional” recipes work just fine with plant-based alternatives.
- because i don’t want to adapt every single time — i want a ready list.
⠀ ⠀ ⠀ this section is:
- for vegans
- for lactose intolerant people
- for anyone tired of reading “contains milk”
- for people who don’t want to justify themselves while cooking
⠀ ⠀ ⠀ this section is not:
- a nutrition lesson
- an anti-dairy crusade
- an invitation to change your diet
- a judgment on other people’s choices
