- when words for things in other languages are cuter than they are in english (korean word for plane spanish word for duckling etc)
- stained glass windows at the perfect time of day
- the new york times puzzles (wordle, connections, vertex etc.)
- realising it's raining outside a closed window
- randomly thinking to check chickensmoothie right when the lost&found or pound are open
- the kid's sections at public libraries
- being in the right kind of crush of people (a dance floor, a concert)
- the little birds that hang out around the ferries in the city (they're called welcome swallows!)
- when artists have to pause for a moment to catch their breath because a crowd is screaming/singing along so loudly and passionately
- looking out across the bay at night and seeing the port lights twinkling in the distance like horizon-hugging stars
- people holding hands while ice skating/roller blading
- the little hop-hop birds do when they're trying to run away but don't want to have to fly
- sitting on walls looking at a landscape/cityscape/sky
- waking up naturally and early having slept really, really well - that feeling of stretching in bed and delighting in being awake
- greeting people at train stations/airports
- pop top juice
- being read to/reading to someone
- isabella giving the announcements on acnh
- the particular twangy thunk of hitting a tennis ball right in the middle of a tennis raquet
- doodling on sticky notes (why is it so much better than other doodling?!)
- making eye contact with someone and both trying so hard not to burst out laughing for no reason
- kpop fancams where they look like they're having the time of their lives
- people earnestly referring to me by the wrong name over the phone at work
- parallel play video gaming on different consoles in total silence except muttered curses when something goes wrong
- sunlight filtering through a canopy of various greens, layered and rich
- going 'oh, wait! i've been here before!!'
