- ✔ Don't Let the Forest In by C. G. Drews ★★★★★ This book destroyed me in a good way. Also the main character is asexual, something I didn't know when I got the book. A pleasant surprise. These boys are ruining me. Edit: I'm listening to the audiobook now lol
- ✔ Buchou wa Onee by Nagabe I'm becoming a furry
- ➤ Minegishi-san wa Ootsu-kun ni Tabesasetai (Manly Appetites: Minegishi Loves Otsu) Vol. 1 by Mito Loving this! Otsu is a grumpy bitch and I love him, such a rare personality in this type of stories, a breath of fresh air. And as the title says Minegishi is really down bad for this man. I can't wait to see them finally get together!
- ✔ Inu-kei no Kareshi (My Boyfriend Is a Dog) Vol. 1 by Kadiro ★★★ I don't like it much when one of the characters is anthropomorphic and the other human. The characters in this one aren't deep, there is just one scene that I thought was impactful but is mostly the couples being cute and funny. Not much of a story
- ➤ Ramen Ookami to Curry Tora (Ramen Wolf and Curry Tiger) by Emboss I like the art but how it's written not so much
- ✔ Usagi-chan, Doshikori Moushiagemasu ★★★★ by Misaka Niumu This is mostly sex but the characters are actually really good and their relationship becomes quite wholesome. There are other couples but we didn't get to know them much. I'm talking mostly of the main one
- ⇉ Spending The Night With The Inexperienced You by Yuuta Shiomi, Shiomi Mori
✩⸻ March
- ✔ Junai Dropout by Misaka Niumu ★★★★★ I'm seeing a pattern with this author. They can write & draw lot of hot sex but they also give us a good relationship and cute couple. This is actually one of the few really mature characters/relationships I have read in a BL (or yaoi? I don't remember the difference) manga. Mature as in they actually read like adults, it makes them more realistic
- ✔ Koisuru Gokudou Oniisan (Mobsters in Love) by Origami Chiyoko Vol. 1 to 3 ★★★ I really like the art and the romance develops quite well at the end (mostly thanks to Ritsu). It's only 3 volumes so it's a fast read, I also think this would do great as an anime. The other implied future couple at the end was the only thing that wasn't to my liking. It came out of nowhere and it felt a bit forced
- ➤ Boku no Omawarisan (My Dearest Cop) by Niyama Vol. 1 to 3 ★★★★★ I need an anime of this! This is the sweetest and most funny BL I have ever read. Seiji makes me cackle a lot and he is so realistic. Like, he is a 40 old man dating a really big 30 year old man. His worries are totally understandables. The scene after he goes to the doctor where he tells his friends what the doctor said lmao Another thing that I really, really loved was how Chico (his cat) is always present in almost every oanel and how real it is. Like, that's totally a cat and a really spoiled one at that. Seiji loves her so much and later Shin is seen to have taken the role as her second dad. They are so cute and adorable it makes my heart melt. So I definitely recommend everyone to read this! You won't regret it ♡ ♥ ♡ ♥
- ✔ The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald ★★★★★ I loved it! Such a beautiful, sad story ♡ ♥ ♡ ♥
