Thursday - 6pm-9pm is free at Museum of Art and Design
- Keep in Mind that every Friday it's free at the MoMA from 4-8pm. Beware of long lines so they say to go after 6pm.
- I want to go the NY Public Library so badly and this seems like a good excuse. Celebrating 100 years runs til Dec. 31 and it's at at the Library’s landmark Stephen A. Schwarzman Building on Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street. It contains various items like Virgina Woolf's Walking Stick to a copy of the Guttenberg Bible and of Mein KampfMondays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Tuesdays 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Wednesdays 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Thursdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Fridays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sundays 1 to 5 p.m. (except in July and August) http://exhibitions.nypl.org/100/celebrating_100_years
- And while we're at it, I want to play the Find the Future game. It's pretty cool, you find 100 artifacts and write like 100 stories from it. Like constructing a short story or scene based on a worst case scenario. This one chick suggested to write a story about how people couldn't read faces or emotions so they have to communicate through emoticons. Scary. http://findthefuture.nypl.org/how_to_play#/ I just wish I had an iphone or an android so I can play. Hopefully I'll have someone with me who owns one of those. In any case I can just play on a computer. I really hope I can write a story in the game before it ends at the end of the year.
