episode iv (a new hope)

• very slow start
• so luke really is just a random farmer guy huh
• i thought those little sand raider thingies were ewoks, and i was so proud for 'recognizing' them too
• i love princess leia as much as i expected, she's the best thing about this movie
• c3po and r2d2 are an old married couple
• r2d2 beep beep boop shut up, i prefer c3po, at least he has a personality
• obi-wan being called ben and also just not really doing anything at all is such a letdown
• the cgi is surprisingly good ngl but the transitions are.... a choice
• darth vader's breathing sounds make no sense at all
• the first time i saw han solo i was like "😍" and every moment after that i hated him. also all i can see is indiana jones i'm sorry
• chewie isn't all that great either
• acting in general is subpar to say the least, but i think the 70s were just kinda like that sometimes
• final fight was a snoozefest
• overall, 3.5 out of 5 stars

episode v (the empire strikes back)

• i like the imperial walkers, they look cool
• han, get your dirty hands off my wife i s2g!!!
• r2d2 being yeeted through the air is the best thing he ever did
• i was so excited to meet yoda and he's just a disgusting gremlin that acts a bit like a toddler
• i do like the "there is no try" quote though, so true yoda so true
• idk how i feel about lando
• is that the/a mandalorian?? i have no clue
• leia and han together makes me gag
• the "no, i am your father" scene does slap a bit ngl
• so he just immediately gets back his hand? boo!
• 4 out of 5 stars

episode vi (the return of the jedi)

• (absolutely expressionless) oh nooo yoda died... . . :|
• jabba the hut is the worst thing ever
• leia in the slave outfit... i'm too gay to be feminist about it
• yoo finally the ewoks! idk if i like them or hate them. somebody said space minions and omg so true
• leia's hair down omg <3
• why is darth vader actually so ugly like
• the ending was kinda nice :]
• excited to watch the prequels now because anakin is hot

• who the hell is qui-gon, why have i never heard of him
• can't tell whether jar jar binks is annoying or funny. that character definitely was A Choice
• i love padmé immediately
• i don't entirely get the whole politics thing
• i can't decide whether cgi yoda is better or worse than the old one
• they really put r2d2 and c3po in these movies omg. i'm okay with it though i love me some 3po
• movie is called "the phantom menace", meanwhile the movie is about pod racing with a little kid
• the whole thing with natalie portman and keira knightley is so damn confusing omg
• second half a bit of a letdown
• young anakin is so OP
• that was fucking liam neeson????? i really thought liam neeson is hot???
• 3.5/4 out of 5 stars (idk)

episode ii (attack of the clones)

• i really like the look of the aliens that created the clone army
• anakin is the worst type of person but i love to hate him
• yoo the iconic 'sand' line!
• padmé when the immature guy she knew as a literal child when she was already queen tells her that dictatorship is awesome: 😍😍 husband material
• it's ok i still love padmé
• i love c3po as comic relief. so much better than jar jar binks
• the monsters in the arena were really cool
• padmé's outfit in the arena..... damn
• i have decided that i like yoda in the prequels
• 4 out of 5 stars

episode iii (revenge of the sith)

• just so you guys know, at this point i have to google shit like "star wars episode ii explained" because i can't keep up with the politics
• obi-wan and anakin are such a good team in this one
• r2d2 screaming will always be funny
• palpatine's "do it" line! finally!
• (through tears) he tried to be good!!
• padmé being reduced to a scared pregnant wife is such a letdown
• i like the design of general grievous, very cool, a bit under-utilized though
• big final fights lose a bit of their charm when you know that every single character will survive
• i still don't get why anakin became evil like it makes no sense but ok
• padmé being surprised that anakin turned to the dark side... wow who could have known! what, the guy who murdered children before ... murdered children again?? gasp!
• leia being adopted was cute
• 4 out of 5 stars

• i watched this movie when it came out but i had forgotten almost everything
• i loooovee bb8, he is soooo cute !!!
• i don't really like rey, sorry. but finn and poe are cool
• kylo ren does not look like han and leia's son
• i love the original cast being in this
• (i would not have recognized leia honestly)
• i don't like the power scaling here. suddenly there's a mega death star, and it's immediately destroyed again? and why is rey so OP without any training?
• i don't have anything to say about the plot, it kinda lost me at some point
• 3.5 out of 5 stars

episode viii (the last jedi)

• i love the porgs they are so stupid
• not the unnecessary kiss between finn and whatshername...
• i don't like that they're killing the big name characters tbh
• kylo ren i believe in you. please turn nice i love you
• i feel like almost nothing happened in this movie
• the red earth covered in snow is such an aesthetically pleasing choice
• i still don't like rey being absolutely op with no training whatsoever
• why do modern movies always try to be funnier than the originals. mcs, stop with the one liners! leave it to the alien/droid sidekicks, they're doing it so well!

episode ix (the rise of skywalker)

• "somehow, palpatine returned". HOW
• they killed leia too oh man :( such a letdown of a death too
• thank good chewie is ok at least (have i mentioned i love him now?)
• god i just love all the droids
• kylo and rey kiss yaaaaas i was waiting for this
• the group hug at the end🥹
• except for the whole palpatine thing i don't get why this gets a bad rep
