• 0) Make sure Java / Adoptium is installed on your PC

Fabric - Mod Pack for best performance

• Install FabricLauner), the installer for that will add a profile to the Minecraft Launcher. Then just add all the mod .jar files into the .minecraft/mods folder in %appdata% as usual.

Required(!):

• FabricAPI required for the others to work!
• Mod Menu adds an in-game mod menu

multiplayer

• Free Server ⇒ Aternos
• LAN with one account:
  • 1) the one with the acc is logged in normally and opens the world over lan
  • 2) the other one logs in with internet, then closes it, disconnects internet and opens again, so that they can play offline. then they can join the game.
  • 3) requirement for this is that the one without the acc has a different display name, which can be changed in one file in the .minecraft folder. the file hast to be read-only later.
• Switch - PC Crossplay: (info)
  • 1) PC user (in new Launcher from Microsoft Store) plays "Minecraft for Windows", not "Minecraft Java Edition"
  • 2) Add Microsoft/Xbox Live account gamertag as a friend and your world will appear in the Friends tab for them to join.
