- wrote an essay comparing Rosanna from The Moonstone and Phineas from John Halifax, Gentleman.
- went to hospital and had my blood pressure, pulse, eyesight checked, as well having my brain looked at through my eyes, before being told I definitely do not have a bleed on the brain, have not had an aneurysm, and do not have a brain tumour. All a relief, but slightly annoying as I hate having wasted people's time.
- handed out several CVs in the desperate hope of getting a job.
- met Ellie for coffee, and ended up helping her babysit her cousin's children. I made a one year old cry because I didn't let him fall down the stairs and I read bedtime stories for the first time to a three year old who kept saying, "This is the last one, I promise."
- gained confidence in my swimming, I can now do backstroke, breast stroke, and front crawl, all without a buoyancy aid.
- went to the nightclub Heaven because they were taking donations for the homeless instead of entry fees.
- spent Valentine's Day with my love. We opened presents in the morning, then spent the afternoon at the theatre, seeing Jersey Boys and Mamma Mia!. I met the actor who plays my favourite Jersey Boy.
