- had my modules for third year assigned - very happy with them!

- T's birthday: he opened presents in the morning, then we went to the gym where he got his programme and I did a run on the treadmill. then it was time for the cinema to see The Mummy with his mum. we then went for a drink before going to the arcades on the pier, and then went to dinner together before meeting his friends for drinks and a few rounds of pool until midnight or just after.
- my first tip at work, a man who sought me out after my section was given to someone else so I could run food. he stood in front of me and asked someone where I was because I'd taken my glasses off and he didn't recognise me, then he gave me the tip and held my hand with both of his and told me I was doing well, we all have to learn, and not to be nervous.
- Saturday Night at the Movies by Robson and Jerome
- served a family from 5 minutes away from the village I grew up in, while working at the complete opposite end of the country
