this has been one of the worst years of my life, but there have been a couple of positives:

• started the new year with my boyfriend
• lots of beautiful, sunny days
• have read many books so far
• became health and safety rep of sorts at work
• accepted into an incredible university for my masters (#2 in the country for my chosen course of study!)
• a customer gave me a box of chocolates as a thank you
• two new goldfish, Houdini and Doyle
• my manager said he trusts me most
• the joy of being in a learning environment again
• my episode of —— aired to lots of praise
  • George Ezra shared a picture of me
  • people ask about me at work
  • one of the baristas at Starbucks said "I have a bone to pick with you. Were you on ——?"
• positive feedback on my first postgraduate essay, my writing being described as excellent
• elected course representative
