easy steps to stressing me out
- clutter
- dust
- crowds
- piercings
- mixing foods
- piles of loose papers (e.g. agonising amounts of worksheets and handouts at school / uni)
- anything being on the floor that does not belong there
- things touching my feet (see: things being on the floor)
- the thought of injuring my feet (probably the source of the above and due all the times I actually have injured them)
- the thought of falling down the stairs (I once had a horrific fall)
- small coins, and loose coins more generally
- the smell of metal lingering on my hands (see: copper coins)
- loose buttons, apparently?
- making phone calls
- sending emails
- thinking about my old job
- driving over bridges or on motorways (I do a lot of catastrophising)
- unwashed hair; loose hairs
- food mess; food in the sink (living with other students was a nightmare)
- worms and centipedes
- dental things and related injuries
- zombies; the apocalypse
- sudden, unexpected noises
- strange, drunk and/or disorderly men
