  • listen to white noise on spotify
  • listen to night rain on spotify when going to bed
  • sleep with a hot water bottle or heated lavender bag, or even just use it during the day
  • relax your entire body from top to bottom. start at your toes and repeat, "my toes are relaxed," several times, making sure they do feel relaxed before moving up to the next area and doing the same again. do this slowly and break it down into as many parts of your body as you can.
  • drink a cup of tea while doing nothing else
  • colour while listening to an audiobook
  • physically write down a list of things causing your anxiety
  • watch a comforting, familiar television show or film
  • focus only on breathing steadily, notice how it feels to inhale and exhale
