I originally intended this as a hogwarts house scarf as a gift for a friend, but I would also recommend adding more accent and base colours to make an lgbtq pride scarf instead

• 4mm needles
• dk yarn: base colour
• dk yarn: accent colour
• cast on 14 stitches
• 3 rows knit stitch (base colour)
• 2 rows knit stitch (accent colour)
• 2 rows ks (bc)
• 2 rows ks (ac)
• 6 rows ks (bc)
• 2 rows ks (ac)
• 2 rows ks (bc)
• 2 rows ks (ac)
• repeat steps 6-9 until desired length
• 3 rows ks (bc)
• cast off
• add tassels with crochet hook if desired
