- relaxation techniques ('my toes are relaxed, my toes are relaxed,' etc.)
- my favourite piano album, which is unfortunately my study music, so I decided against it
- relaxing ambience sounds: thunderstorms, rain, etc.

- listening to the television, which helps me fall asleep, but doesn't help me stay asleep
- chamomile tea, which does nothing
