• art deco, pastel bedding, with a soft pale turquoise blanket, a flamingo pillow, and a pillow with a french bulldog on it.
• often a cat who does not belong to me sleeping on the bed.
• white fairy lights loosely framing my bedside shelf and headboard.
• shelves cluttered with books, stationery, beauty products, and the occasional snack.
• purple fairy lights in the shape of bats running along my desk, along with a hanging ghost lantern and a small light up ghost; from a halloween party.
• plants of varying species and size lining the window sill, my book shelves.
• the shark top trumps my boyfriend bought me after I told him about my childhood set.
• my plush collection; a slow loris, a hammerhead shark, a lucky red cat, a squirtle, pusheen, and an elephant whose nose was stitched back together by my boyfriend's mum. oh, also a small purple wooden robot.
• a cluster of postcards and art prints on the wall above my bed.
• a multi-coloured rag rug covering most of the floor.
