- ...asks which students want something printed out, and gives it digitally to all other students (to save paper)
- ...doesn't force people to do groupwork
- ...doesn't give grades based on class participation
- ...doesn't give mandatory homework unless really necessary
- ...doesn't think that their subject is more important than other subjects
- ...gives less work if it's a stressful time
- ...is a friend, an equal. not a boss
- ...is a good person
- ...knows that, just because they are interested in the subject, the students might not be, and thinks that that is okay
- ...knows that:
- bad grades ≠ didn't study
- bad grades ≠ doesn't care about grades
- good grades ≠ cares about grades
- good grades ≠ has studied a lot
- good grades ≠ intelligent
- good grades ≠ interested in the subject
- ...makes all study materials available for all students
- ...makes it possible but not too easy to have all A's
- ...offers their students to help with personal problems
- ...supports students who struggle with the subject
- ...tells their students exactly what they have to study for a test, and answers all questions about the test
