how to:

• finally, reboot your pc and you should see the change!
• navigate to the necessary folder.
  • if a specific folder does not exist, create it. (right click on current folder -> create key)
• once in the right folder, right-click in the big white space on the right and create an entry (not key!) of the necessary type (e.g. DWORD) and give it the necessary title. (make sure not to append any spaces!)
• search for "regedit" in windows. open the registry editor.
• then give it the necessary value (e.g. 1) by right-clicking it and choosing 'change'.
