—— 2018 fall semester
- biology and genetics
- final grade: 8
- each lecture was not long enough, we covered all the topics pretty fast. after each lecture we had a small test and could use our phones. we also practiced in labs. in the final test we were supposed to make a family tree (fake or a real one). we all got 10s.
- logic
- final grade: 5
- the only course we had in the big auditorium. together with first year law students. i did not listen almost at all, did not like the professor. many hours and we got to go home at like 8 pm when it was dark out.
- human functioning bio-medical aspects
- final grade: 7
- at first it seemed very interesting and understandable, easy to follow. i attended almost every lecture. the lectures were super long and at the end of them i stopped listening. we had theory for a few months and after that practice with a new lecturer, who was a young doctor, whom nobody seemed to like very much, mainly because she just stared at the computer screen and talked in a monotone voice. we had to present and i with 2 other girls chose to present about mental health. we got a 9. the final exam was an oral one, i prepared for it, but got shitty topics, was shaking from anxiety, so got a 7 at the end, which i was super upset about, i even got briefly suicidal.
- history of psychology
- final grade: 8
- i slept A LOT during these lectures, and still managed to get a decent grade. probably because at the exam we were allowed to use ANYTHING, including phones.
- social skills
- final grade: "i"
- this was a nightmare at first, probably because of my social anxiety. but as i got to know more about my new course mates it got better. at the end we had to write a self reflection and that was all. only lasted for a month (september).
- english
- final grade: 10
- LOVED IT! FAVE LECTURER EVER! i never got a grade lower than a 10, and i stood out by knowing a lot about mental health, since mental health was on of the topics we covered the most, which i was REALLY happy about. the lecturer was SUPER nice as well. reminded me a lot of an actress emmy rossum (by looks).
- psychologist's professional work and ethics I
- final grade: 9
- i fell asleep a few times, but overall it was a great course. i really liked the lecturer, mainly because she talked a lot from her personal professional experience with kids and teens. occasionally she mentioned something triggering and then i started dissociating, but overall it was fine.
- general psychology I
- final grade: 8
- the lecturer was pretty boring not gonna lie. i could have gotten a higher grade if i knew back then how to study properly. i could have gotten at least a nine.
—— 2019 spring semester
- information literacy
- final grade: "i"
- it was pretty interesting, due to the fact we used computers and often times we just browsed websites and social media. the final assignment was super easy, and we were allowed to choose any psych related topic.
- statistical methods of data processing in psychology
- final grade: 5
- it was AWFUL! worst course we ever had. i barely listened OR understood anything. also it took place very early in the mornings. and it was like 15 mins away from the tram stop. thankfully it was in spring.
- general psychology II
- final grade: 7
- honestly one of the worst ones as well. i did not like the lecturer. she made us talk a lot, which i'm definitely not a fan of. one of the assignments was to watch a movie about violence in schools. i was reluctant to watch it, i inquired about the types of violence in the movie. and my course mates said there's every type of violence, so i decided i would not watch it, solely to stay "untriggered" because violence upsets and triggers me MAJORLY. Ti studied for the final test, but only got a 7 at the end, i'm guessing i could have gotten at least an 8 if i had done the assignment.
- sociology
- final grade: 8
- super boring, barely listened. we had to present, and do these tests online. so overall i got an 8, which is totally decent, considering i wasn't even trying.
- examination practise
- final grade: 8
- this one was tough for me, but everything turned out just fine! i did have to present alone, because i was in italy when the rest of the course presented. i was MEGA MEGA MEGA anxious and scared.
- english
- final grade: 10
- like i said - the best course out of all of them.
- developmental psychology
- final grade: 8
- the lecturer was quite strict, but i really enjoyed her lectures, i also learnt A LOT. i did mega bad on the little tests, because i never studied for them (i was in a depressive episode back then). when i had to present, i was shaking + very pale and the lecturer was so nice and told me when it's my turn and i still feel like fainting i'll be able not to present. but it was my turn and i presented (with a shaky voice and all). when everyone clapped, the lecturer said to clap again, and i was so happy and relieved. i had to write the final test before the rest of the course did, because i was going to italy when they wrote the exam. the lecturer was super nice to me and all.
- cognitive psychology
- final grade: 8
- boring. i could have studied more for the test, might have gotten a nine, but oh well. eight's good too.
